gah

Are you ever afraid to talk to good-looking people?

So you don't.

In fact, do you ever run away from them? Even when they are talking to your friends?

Yes. I also find it helpful to throw in hostile glares and some nasty sarcastic (or nonsensical) and generally snobbish comments to further throw them off the scent. If you're feeling really daring you can add to your carefully spun web of confusion by being unabashedly charming and friendly to all the men in the room you have no romantic intrest in.
Any quality man ought to be able to decipher you true intentions.

*Warning* The following are Clever Responses from Jon to this blog posting:

"I always wondered why sometimes I run away from the mirror...thanks for shedding light on the subject."

or

"Mary, you could've just said "hi" to me."

In my experience, attractive people are like bears...they're more afraid of you than you are of them.

And...

Most of the time you find out pretty quick that good looking people are also normal and insecure (perhaps more so) than everyone else.

So...

You should probably not wuss out anymore. You'll have a ring by spring.

Jon, you crack me up. I'm not really sure how to respond to you, though. :) I mean besides running away, obviously.
