Big Decision

I need to buy a car. I have been without vehicle for about a month now, due to former car being sadly totaled. I'm sure it's been a wonderful humbling experience and lovely money-saver. However, I would like a car now. In my price range are jewels like this. Pickings are slim. Young women are taken advantage of. I need help!

  1. haha. I think that truck has charachter.
On a more encouraging note, I know you can do this. It is overwhelming at first but when it gets down to it, it's just shopping. And you like shopping :)

  3. That looks like a solid vehicle to me. Take your man out with you to kick the tires. That's what men are for, right? Or something...

  4. You should get your new "husband-to-be" to get you a car. It's his duty...

I'd say you definitely need to take a male with you. I know it's sad, but that's just the way it is. When a seller sees a young woman, car shopping on her own it's like a hawk who just spotted a field mouse.

I shopped for my car alone. Just did A LOT of research first and didn't give the guy's gimmicks the time of day.

Also, I ALWAYS recommend a Honda. The higher price you pay up front pays off. They last forever, retain a high resale value, and are about as indestructable as they come. Not that we tested that lately or anything...with large rocks, a steep embankment, and nearly flipping the car...
